Matthew 6:9-10
“This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.’”

Expanded Passage: Matthew 6:5-15 (or whole Sermon on the Mount)

One thing I never noticed about the Lord’s prayer is how much it is focused on God, especially this short beginning. “Our Father,” “your name,” “your kingdom,” and “your will.” Not anything exalting my wants and needs in the beginning. And then the second part is all dependence on God, “give us,” “forgive us,” and “lead us.” Acknowledgment of our dependence, yeah, that sounds like humility to me.
